Owners
of candidates who wish to register animals by mail can do so
by copying and
completing the application form and complying with the following requirements.
1.
Submit five recent
color photographs: one each of the
front, each side, rear and the top of the head. (No photos of sheared candidates).
2.
Provide a three
generation pedigree, using registry numbers.
3.
Provide ear tag number
of the candidate. Name is optional.
4.
Provide date of birth,
sex, type of birth (single, twin, multi) and owner and breeder information.
5.
Check the teeth and
testicles (if applicable) for conformity and any lumps – see check list at
bottom of form.
6.
Provide a registration
fee of : Members - $5.00
Non-Members
- $10.00
(US Dollars Only) for each
candidate. This fee will not be
refunded if the candidate is not accepted for registration.
Please allow six to
eight weeks for approvals and paperwork.
Each
California Red Sheep, once registered, is required to be tattooed with it’s
registration number in it’s right ear.
All registered CA Red Sheep that are sold must have a tattoo.
